Introduction
College Writing
"College Writing" is a foundational course aimed at training students in the basics of academic writing in order to develop university level thinking and self-expression. 1st year students are encouraged to practice self-reflection, identify the characteristics of the topic's requirements, and use critical thinking within their academic writing. As a General Studies Required course, "College Writing" must be taken during the designated semester of a student's first year as determined by their respective college.

- First time enrollment in this course may only be permitted during a regular semester. Seasonal semesters are limited for those retaking the course.

- The semester courses for 1st year students are determined by their respective college and must be followed accordingly.
- Students must carefully check the course schedule and register on their own.
- Separate course sections are designated for Student Athletes, Department of Cyber Defense, Overseas Koreans, and those retaking the course.
- Non-1st year students such as those who have not yet taken or are retaking the course must register for the "Retake/Non-completion" course section
